Mandarin Classes for Kids Join our Kids Mandarin Open House Give your kids the best opportunities for their future by having them learn Mandarin now. Mandarin is best learned young, because the language is so different from English and kids can pick up new languages more easily than us adults. We use colourful and lively materials in the classroom so that your kids will feel like they're having fun while learning a new language. For the most convenience, we offer both weekend and after school classes for kids aged 2 to 12, and an early years program for younger kids aged 1.5 to 2. In each class, we limit the number of students to 6 or 10 maximum depending on the program, so that each child gets individual attention from the teacher. We are also offering our March Break program again this year, along with our fun Mandarin Summer Camp We can even cooperate with your kids' school to offer classes there.
Mandarin Summer Camp for Kids North York or Markham This summer will your kids be ready to start learning Mandarin? From July to August we will be providing a daily Mandarin Summer Camp for Kids aged 3 to 12 years old. In this all-day camp kids will learn Mandarin every morning and in the afternoons participate in fun activities like games, art, painting, hand crafts, songs, and field trips. These activities will all relate to learning Mandarin and Chinese culture in a lively way designed for kids. Let's start learning Mandarin in a fun way everyday this summer! Choose a camp section from one of: A. Singing Mandarin (3 to 5 yrs) B. Speaking Mandarin (6 to 9 yrs) C. Reading Mandarin (10 to 13 yrs) Or for kids who want to improve both reading and writing skills: D. Advanced Mandarin * Term 1: Tue July 3 - Fri July 20 (3 weeks) * Term 2: Mon July 23 - Fri Aug 17 (4 weeks) * Term 3: Mon Aug 20 - Fri Aug 31 (2 weeks) * Camp Hours: Mon - Fri 9am to 4pm, weekly in July and August * Tuition Fee: $190 / week for 5 weeks or more, $800 for 4 weeks, $690 for 3 weeks, $500 for 2 weeks, $270 for 1 week * Materials Fee: $5 / week * Registration fee: $50 per student or $80 per family (two or more kids) * Early Bird Discount: Registration fee is waived if you register before April 1st for 4 weeks or more * Early drop-off or late pick-up of your child is available for as follows: * Early drop-off times: 7:30am-8:30am daily, $10 / week charge * Late pick-up times: 4:30pm-6:00pm daily, $10 / week charge * Note: Students will have to bring their own lunch or we can order catered lunch for them at cost (reserve at the start of the term for this option). * Discounts * 1. Register two kids from the same family for 4 weeks or more, and receive $50 off the second tuition. Same discount applies to third child from the same family. 2. Refer other students and get $50 off your child's tuition when registering for 4 weeks or more. 3. Half-day students (morning or afternoon) receive 30% off the full-day tuition. We are offering easy and fun Mandarin programs for young students during their break. School-Year Weekend Mandarin for Kids Thornhill / North York or Downtown This is our weekend Mandarin program for kids running from September to June. There are three age groups for this program: ages 2 to 3, 3 to 5, 4 to 6, and 6 to 12. To guarantee the learning effectiveness for each student, we limit each class to 6-10 students maximum depending on the age group. * Class Time: Saturdays or Sundays as follows: * ages 2.5-3.5: Sun 10am-12pm (Max class size: 8 kids) * ages 3-5: Sat 10am-12pm (Max class size: 10 kids) * ages 4-6: Sun 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm (Max class size: 10 kids) * ages 6-12: Sat 10am-12pm or Sun 1pm-3pm (Max class size: 8 kids) * Tuition: $999 / year (September 2012 to June 2012) * Materials: $50 for September to June * Registration fee: $50 per student or $80 per family (two or more kids) * Note: Parents Mandarin class also available on Sunday mornings from 10am-12pm* * Parents learn Mandarin while their kids are having class in the next room! Our Mandarin Program At Your Kids' School We can co-operate with your kids' school to provide our Kids Program on-site at your school. We assign our professional teachers to go to your school and teach Mandarin in the classroom. We can work with the school and the parents to develop a customized program to meet the needs of the kids.
