Summer Intensive Mandarin Program
Our summer intensive Mandarin program is specially designed for university students and other adults on break.
Take advantage of your time off to learn Mandarin with us in our focused and fun classes!
Currently we have 2 courses in this program to choose from:
A. Beginner
This is for people with no previous knowledge of Mandarin. You will gain a solid foundation in
pronunciation and tones, and be able to make basic conversation. You will also have the option
of learning reading and writing of simple Chinese characters. The class environment will be fun and lively.
We promise you will enjoy learning Mandarin with us!
Term: Aug 17 - Sep 14 (Markham location)
Duration: 28 hours (4 weeks, 7 hours each week)
Times: Mon & Wed 7pm-9:30pm, Sat 10am-12pm
Class Size: 4-6 students
Tuition: $499 (only $18 / hr) + textbook cost -- NO GST, as always with us
Registration fee: $50 (one-time)
B. Intensive Class for Cantonese Speakers (Dragon Heir Program)
We are offering a special fast-track class this summer for Cantonese
speakers who want to learn Mandarin. The program content includes
Level 1 our Dragon Heir Program.
On completion of this course, students will be proficient in
the phonetics (pronunciation) of Mandarin, as well as daily conversation
sentence patterns.
Term: Aug 4 - Aug 29 (Downtown location)
Duration: 28 hours (4 weeks, 7 hours each week)
Times: Tue & Thu 6pm-8:30pm, Sat 10am-12pm
Class Size: 4-6 students
Tuition: $499 (only $18 / hr) + textbook cost -- NO GST, as always with us
Registration fee: $50 (one-time)
